How ZTP works

ZTP allows new network devices to be provisioned automatically, with minimal manual configuration. When a device is connected to the network and boots with its default factory configuration, it automatically upgrades (or downgrades) its software release and installs a configuration file from the network.

That configuration file can be a system OS configuration or a script — letting you build device-specific or site-specific configurations that automate your entire network deployment.
