The Challenge
Somerset NHS Trust required private data connections between their sites in the South West. A point of emphasis for the Trust was a hassle-free installation process, something they have struggled with from other suppliers which resulted in both financial and operational issues. As with any Public Sector organisation, keeping expenditure at a minimum was a big contributing factor in the selection process.
The Solution
Stream Networks provisioned multiple “Point-to-Point” internet connections to ensure all of Trust’s main sites were connected to each other which allowed for easy data transfer in a secure and reliable manner.
Our operations and provisioning teams used their industry experience to manage the installations to ensure that the process was meticulously planned and executed.
Using this process we ensured that the internal staff at the Trust could minimise disruption to their schedules and workload by planning appointments local to each other in consecutive time slots. This ensured the circuits were provisioned on time, and within budget.
